Welcome to UBC Recreation Fitness & Classes

UBC Fitness Programs are dedicated to the health and wellbeing of the UBC Community. We have two fitness facilities: The BirdCoop Fitness Centre and the ARC Fitness Centre. These facilities offer gym memberships, Women (Trans Women Welcome) & Two-Spirit, Trans, Non-Binary (2STNB) fitness hours, climbing cave, a variety of fitness classes, as well as personal training for individuals of all fitness levels.

SRC Drop-In Sports Location Change | April 12 – May 3

The SRC Gymnasiums will be hosting exams from April 12 – May 3, 2024. During this closure, the SRC gymnasiums will be unavailable to the public. As a result, drop-in basketball and volleyball will be available on select days at War Memorial Gym during the closure.

Easter Long Weekend | Reduced Hours

UBC Sports Facilities will have adjusted hours for the upcoming Easter Long Weekend on Friday, March 29 – Monday, April 1. We encourage guests to plan ahead if they are planning to visit our facilities.


April Exam Pass | On Sale Mar 18

March 13, 2024

The April Exam Pass will be on sale online on March 18 at 10:00 AM, and effective April 1 – 27, 2024. The April Exam Pass includes unlimited access to over 150 group fitness classes!
