Nutritious and Delicious: Beef and Mushroom Stew

Hungry upon returning home from school in these chilly November months? We have the warm, tasty and healthy solution for those dark, cold nights, Beef and Mushroom Stew!
2 pounds of beef stew meat sliced into cubes
2 tablespoons of flour
2 tablespoons of butter and oil
2 whole shallots, minced
2 cloves of garlic, minced
8 ounces of white button mushrooms
1/2 can of beef consomme
Cooking Instructions
1. Mix the cubes of beef with some flour
2. Add oil and butter into pan and let it heat. Add the beef in and cook till its nice and brown
3. Once beef is ready, remove from pan. Cook the minced shallots, garlic and mushrooms in medium heat
4. Once ready, add beef consomme into pan and with also with equal amount of water and let it boil
5. When contents are nice and bubbly, add beef and mix. Add flour if you would like to thicken the stew
6. Can be served with rice, potato or pasta! Try throwing in some carrots, peas or any of  your favorite veggies for added nutrition!
