Spring Outdoor Programming

With Spring in full swing, it’s time to get outdoors and enjoy the beautiful landscapes we have here in our backyard. Participate in hiking trips, bouldering escapades, and more!
The following are programs offered this term:
Intermediate Hike: Stawamus Chief : Take a day trip to the Stawamus Chief near Squamish. Trip includes transportation and a professional guide to lead the way, ensuring a fun, safe, and educational experience.

Intermediate Hike: Two Canyon Loop : Explore the North Shore on a hike of Two Canyon Loop. The Loop boasts some of the most scenic trails, taking you through Lynn Canyon and the Seymour River Canyon passing waterfalls and a suspension bridge. Intermediate hiking ability suggested.
Intro to Bouldering Workshop : Learn how to boulder in the BirdCoop Fitness Center’s climbing cave! This workshop will teach you basic bouldering techniques.
Basic Open Water Certification : Certification for Basic Open Water is a gateway to the world of scuba diving. Learn about: dive planning, air supply management, weighting, diver propulsion techniques, and more. The course includes online learning, pool dives, and ocean dives. This new Open Water Course has more pool time and greater emphasis on local diving.
Snowshoeing Tour : Explore Cypress Mountain on this guided snowshoe tours where you will explore snowy mountain forests and sub-alpine meadows of our winter wonderland with an informative and entertaining guide. No experience required. Equipment included.
