Where Does Your Money Go?

We Lace Up to help one-of-a-kind kids like Jack Drover!

At only 2 days old, Jack was diagnosed with VACTERL association, a rare syndrome that causes malformations of organs and bones. By the time he was 9 months old, Jack underwent 3 different surgeries and his family is waiting to see if more surgeries will be required.
The whole family continues to receive support from the genetic counselors at BC Children’s Hospital and the Rare Disease Foundation to help map out what challenges Jack will face in the future. The toddler is also helping researchers to determine the factors that cause VACTERL association by participating in a study at the hospital.
