Yoga + Rave = Yoga Rave

This Wednesday (Feb.3), UBC Recreation will be holding its first-ever Yoga Rave.
Yes, you read that correctly: Yoga. Rave.
Two words you never thought would go together, right?
When picturing yoga, most people think slow movements and static poses – which is not what Kundalini yoga is all about. Kundalini practice is a school of yoga dedicated to awakening your internal energy, and is often called “the yoga of awareness.”

Yoga Rave brings together blacklights, glowsticks, pumping beats, and Kundalini yoga practice. This free event is for all levels and abilities, designed to help make physical activity fun.

UBC’s Yoga Rave is happening at Gage Residence’s Isabelle MacInnes room (aka Izzy Mac) tomorrow night at 7:00 PM. Space is limited, so arrive early! Class starts at 7:30 and mats are available for rental if required.

This event is only open to UBC students, staff and faculty. Please bring your ID card for entry.
