The Americas Masters Games 2016

The inaugural Americas Masters Games will be hosted in Vancouver with the swimming events being hosted by The UBC Aquatic Centre. The games will be held from August 26 through September 4, thousands of masters athletes will come together to compete in 25 sports. The nine-day event is designed to complement the World Masters Games (the world’s largest multi-sport event), offering an opportunity for sports enthusiasts and athletes of all skill levels 30 years of age and older to compete in the Americas region.

Swimming Schedule:
Monday, Aug 29th
800 Free, 400 IM, 50 Breast, 100 Back, 200 Free,100 Fly, 200 Breast men and women 4×100 medley relay and 4×100 free relay
Tuesday, Aug 30th
400 Freestyle, 200 Fly, 50 Back, 100 Free, 200 IM, 50 Fly, 100 Breast, 200 Back, 50 Free mixed gender 4×100 medley and 4×100 free relay

Drop-off & Parking:
The closest parking lot to the UBC Aquatic Centre is the North Parkade, situated north of the facility on Student Union Blvd. A map outlining the location of the North Parkade in relation to the UBC Aquatic Centre can be found here: Maps. Please note there is NO drop-off or pick-up from University Blvd to the south of the UBC Aquatic Centre adjacent the UBC AMS Nest.
