Cancelled – Party at Jericho with Nestor and Alumni Longboat Races

Update Sep 30.2016 – Unfortunately, we have had to cancel this year’s event.

 

So it turns out that this year is actually Nestor’s 49th year of involvement with UBC and not his 50th.  In any event, while the Salute to NK’s 50 years will be delayed by a year, we’re still going to be having a party this fall and hope that you’ll join us.

WHERE: Jericho Beach Sailing Club (The Gallery Patio and Grill)

WHEN: Saturday October 1^st, 2016

TIME: 6:30pm – 11:00 pm

GUESTS: UBC IM and REC ALUMNI

FEE:  $35.00 per person

REGISTER HERE (by Sunday, September 25)

PARKING: Free in the Jericho Parking Lot

 

No Host Bar with one complimentary beverage. Light snacks and appetizers will be served throughout the evening.

Please Note:

1. If you drive, don’t drink!
2. If you plan to drink, make arrangement to get home safely (Cab, Friends, Family)
3. Non-Alcohol Beverages are available
4. Be aware that
   1. Cars left in the Jericho Parking Lot after 12 midnight will be towed away
   2. Overnight Parking is available in the residential roadways outside the Park

Date: Sunday, October 2, 2016

Location: Jericho Sailing Centre

Event Format: Register your team to be part of the competitive Alumni CoRec race. There are no CoRec gender ratios. Minimum paddlers per team 8, maximum 10.

Race Day and Clinics: Sun Oct 2nd. Arrive for 10am – Your day will start with a Safety Clinic followed by the race, reception, and Awards. Race to conclude by 12:30pm.

Teams:  All Alumni register for a team . If you’re an individual without a team, please contact Jason.McManus at the contact below and we will do our best to find a team for you.

Fees: $200/team  – Register HERE!
