1. Explore UBC
The UBC campus is so vast and beautiful, so go out and explore! If running isn’t your speed, just go for a walk and enjoy this scenic campus that we are lucky enough to study on. Check out Pacific Spirit and explore the trails; by taking the stairs down to Wreck Beach, you can sneak in a quick workout up those 500+ stairs.
2. Join a UBC Recreation League!
By joining a League, either by yourself or with your friends, you can participate in a sport that you love. It’s also a good way to take your mind off the stress of school and get an awesome workout: win win!

3. Dance during study breaks
This isn’t your typical workout, but don’t underestimate the power of a dance party. When studying has got you down, turn up the music and dance! It’s a great stress reliever and gives you a fun workout, while still being on top of your school work.

4. Join a class at the bird coop
There is a wide variety of classes that can appeal to everyone, from dance, to kickboxing, and even bootcamp, you can always find something that excites you regardless of your fitness level.
5. Switch it up
Whatever you decide to do, variety is the key. Not only does your body need the occasional change-up, it’s also good for you, mentally, to switch up your workout routine.
