What Does Fall Mean?

You can enjoy the beautiful fall leaves during your runs

When weather permits, head on outside for your run instead of your normal treadmill session! Run down Main Mall, University Boulevard, the neighbourhood roads or beautiful parks in Vancouver to enjoy the amazing views of orange, red and yellow.

Pumpkin patches (and other farms) are back in season

UBC Farm, Aldor Acres, Chilliwack Corn Maze & Richmond Country Farms are just some

of the familiar names you may have heard of when October rolls in. Take a break from studying and head on down to any of these locations during your week or weekends! Be sure to also check out the Tuesday Evening Market at the UBC Farm, and stop by to pick up some fresh veggies, fruits and more for those home cooked recipes.

More events are being held by UBC Recreation Intramurals

What’s next on the agenda? November means UBC’s Largest Zumba, Dodgeball Derby, Water Wars, and of course… Lace Up For Kids! Jot down the dates for these events, and the registration deadlines too, as you wouldn’t want to miss out on these. They’re a great way to shake off those study blues, spend an evening with great company, and also a chance for you to win a champ shirt!
