Back for his third season with the SkiBirds, Cameron Hale continues to be an impressive competitor. Hale came to UBC from Toronto, ON, where he grew up racing at Blue Mountain with the Toronto Ski Club, and prior to that with the Windermere Valley Ski Club. He skied FIS for TSC for 4 years, earning 56 points in slalom and 92 points in giant slalom in his final season of competition.

Hale continues to be a fierce competitor in the USCSA circuit, with impressive standings in both disciplines this season. He won the most recent slalom race in Bogus Basin, ID, and earned a second-place finish in the slalom race in Mt Hood, OR. He also had great results in the giant slalom race in Mission Ridge, ID, where he placed 1st (Feb 4) and 5th (Feb 5) overall. Hale will certainly be one to watch at the USCSA Western Regional Championship, happening February 23-25, 2017 in McCall, ID.
