With the increased prevalence of mental illness in young people, it is likely that you or someone in your life struggles with mental health issues. Mental illness is all around us, so we need to learn how to fight it. One key weapon in this battle is physical activity. In the wise words of Elle Woods, “Exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy.”
Keep your mind and body healthy in 2018 by joining a class, going to the gym, or participating in an event. Maybe even take on the UBC Rec Triathlon!
