Last week the UBC Alpine Ski Team traveled down to Jackson, Wyoming to compete in the USCSA regionals. After two days of intense racing we are excited to announce that the women’s team has qualified for nationals in Lake Placid, New York. The women’s team came 2nd on the first day and 5th on the second day to end up 3rd overall! The men’s team fought hard and left everything on the mountain but unfortunately they were just short of qualifying. Senior Cameron Hale qualified as an individual and will be joining the women’s team in Lake Placid next week. Full results of the team are listed below, and make sure to watch out for the skibirds as they represent UBC at USCSA Nationals for the third year in a row!
