After standout performances over five-days at the Canadian Swimming Trials in Edmonton several members of the UBC Thunderbirds swimming program were named to the senior national team set for competition at next month’s Pan Pacific Championships in Tokyo.
Yuri Kisil, Markus Thormeyer, Josiah Binnema, Alex Pratt, Hau Li (open water), Emily Overholt and Erika Seltenreich-Hodgson are amongst 32 swimmers to qualify for the Pan Pacific Swimming Championships in Tokyo from August 9-14, also home to the 2020 Summer Olympics Games.
