A MOVEment is taking over UBC!

February is the month of movement at UBC! Move UBC is an annual campus-wide initiative to increase physical activity and celebrate the diverse ways we can move our bodies on campus. You already know that physical activity is a crucial aspect of healthy living, which is why Move UBC is so exciting! Move UBC is all about connecting staff, faculty and students with different free and low-cost opportunities to be active right on campus.

So grab a few friends and try something new this February! Here are some events we’re looking forward to:

  • Feb 1st – Kick start Move UBC month with the Cha Cha Slide, a quick noon time dance party at Martha Piper Fountain.
  • Feb 7th – Get ready for some bright clothes and glow in the dark paint at the Yoga Rave.
  • Feb 28th – Show the world why fashion never looked so fit on Wear Your Active Wear Day.
