Move UBC is a university-wide annual initiative to increase physical activity and reduce the time students, staff, faculty and the UBC community spend sitting. Move UBC aims to inspire people to move more and improve their overall health and wellbeing.

UBC’s Vision for a Physically Active Campus

In alignment with UBC’s Strategic Plan, UBC Wellbeing and the Physical Activity Framework, increasing opportunities to be more physically active is a priority on campus. The importance of sitting less and moving more is crucial to increasing the overall wellbeing of both individuals and our community.
