Have you ever wanted to try tennis? Played before and looking to up your game? Come and check out this free event at the state-of-the-art UBC Tennis Centre! It is the only indoor tennis facility in Vancouver that is open to the public without membership fees! There are different programs for every skill level, whether you’re a beginner or an expert – there’s something for you! Not sure of your level? We’ve got you covered! UBC Tennis Coaches will be able to assist with your evaluation. The Open House will have lots of fun activities to try, drills, and prizes!
On-Court Activities:
- Test out your endurance and strength with the ball machine
- Practice your accuracy and agility with a tennis coach
- Try a fun target game on the court with coaches
- Up for a challenge? Have a match against our experts
- New to tennis? Check out our beginner court for some fun beginner activities
- Kids 5 years and older are welcome! Check out our kid zone for activities using larger tennis balls and smaller nets
What To Bring:
- Non-marking shoes (if you would like to try the on-court activities)
- Water
- Your racquet if you have one! (If you don’t or you forget we will have plenty to borrow)
