Welcome back to a new school year here at UBC, which also mean the start of a new artistic swimming season!
We hope you’re all as excited as our club execs to see what will be happening over the next few months, and we’re here to remind you of some of the key events to look out for.
Before we get started, we just want to say how excited we were to meet so many amazing people at our booth on Imagine Day.
Not only that, but, a record amount of people came out to our 3 try-it practices at the beginning of September, and the club now has a record high amount of swimmers committed to swimming this year!
Coming up soon, UBC TSC Artistic Swimming will be hosting their first fundraiser – Krispy Kreme!
So, come by the UBC Aquatic Centre on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2019 between 8am-5pm and buy some donuts for a $1 per donut or $10 per dozen. All funds raised go towards helping our athletes get to Westerns which will be hosted in Edmonton this year.
Looking forward into the future – UBC is hosting CUASL Nationals this year, which is the first time in 4 years that the completion has been hosted in Western Canada! Make sure to mark it down in your calendar and come watch everyone compete at the UBC Aquatic Center from February 14th-16th, 2020!
UBC TSC Artistic Swimming will also be hosting their annual UBC Water Shows at the end of each semester that we encourage friends and family to come out to. The Winter Watershow will be on December 1st from 4:00-4:30pm at the UBC Aquatic Centre.
Hope to see you at some, if not all of the mentioned events!
