UBC Lunch + Lift Workshop!

We are excited to introduce a free fitness and nutrition workshop for all UBC Community members, called Lunch + Lift! This 1-hour interactive workshop over Zoom will consist of a 30-minute bootcamp-style class led by a UBC Recreation Fitness Instructor, followed by a 30-minute interactive nutrition session led by UBC Dietitian, Tamara Paetsch. This workshop will not only allow you to get some exercise in over lunch time, but will also provide you with some great tips and tricks for eating better to enhance your performance. All registered participants in attendance at the session will be entered in a draw to WIN one of four $25 gift cards to your choice of one of the following:

  • UBC Food Services
  • Running Room
  • More Bikes
  • Virtuous Pie
  • Doughgirls
  • Save-On-Foods

Time: 12:00pm -1:00pm

Location: Zoom. You will be sent a meeting invitation over email.

Cost: Free!

Audience: Students, Staff, Faculty, and UBC Community Members are all welcome to participate.  No fitness or nutrition experience is required to attend. This session will be applicable for all levels of ability/knowledge.

What to Bring: All you need is a water bottle. Don’t forget to wear your comfortable active wear!
