Run/Roll/Walk…Into the Fall!

Welcome to the Run/Roll/Walk Series, designed to keep you moving in different ways! We know that with most classes being online these days, and with a limited number of physical fitness spaces open, it might be more challenging this fall to stay physically active. No matter your ability or fitness level there will be something for you. This series will be an easy and engaging way to stay active throughout the whole semester for all fitness levels.

Each week, a new weekly challenge will be announced, and the challenges will vary from walking, running, and yoga to anything you want. This series is designed to get you started on being active, or if you already are, to push you to keep going!

How do I participate?

  1. Register by October 6,. Registration is free, and will get you access to the weekly challenges.
  2. Complete the weekly challenges – challenges are announced at the start of the week, and close on Sunday night.
  3. Track your activity on a platform such as Strava (free) or Garmin.
  4. Email a screenshot of your activity to the, and be entered to win weekly prizes!


Prizing, and good prizing is something everyone likes. And that’s what we have in this fun and engaging series! Prizing will be drawn each week randomly from the group of participants who completed the weekly challenge, not based on time.

We encourage everyone to participate! Students, staff, faculty, and community members of UBC are all invited to participate.
