With a new season brings new exciting news! The UBC Thunderbirds Lacrosse Sport Club has entered a partnership with the Canadian Lacrosse League (CLL) to support the growth of UBC’s Lacrosse program and increase the collective attention of college lacrosse in Western Canada.
This mutual relationship will provide UBC Lacrosse an opportunity to create specific content that will be integrated in the CLL marketing and content calendar. This in turn will showcase the players and profile of the UBC lacrosse program to a wider audience.
With the CLL recently partnering up with the Canadian University Field Lacrosse Association (CUFLA) and the Maritime University Field Lacrosse League (MUFLL), the aim of this partnership is to promote and add exposure to the opportunities for collegiate lacrosse at UBC. Having the support and the stability of a lacrosse program at one of the top universities in Canada makes for exciting times for field lacrosse and the growth of collegiate lacrosse in the province.
The UBC Lacrosse executives would like to thank Chris Fox of the CLL for the partnership and all of the past UBC Lacrosse executives who have helped grow this program and have made this possible. We are excited to get things going for the new year!
