Run Roll Walk – Week 1 Challenge

Are you pumped and ready to get started with RRW? Welcome to week 1 of Run Roll Walk! This week’s challenge will get you off your feet! Week 1’s theme is Stepping Into the New Year. Run or walk the distances indicated below (or do more)! 

WEEK 1 CHALLENGE: STEP CHALLENGE

Complete any of the following this week (Jan 18 – 24):

  • 3000 steps for 2.5km
  • 5000 steps for 4km
  • 10000 steps for 8km

PRIZE THIS WEEK:

Your choice of a $40.00 gift card to lululemon, SportChek, or Patagonia.

HOW TO SUBMIT ENTRIES FOR PRIZES:

  1. You must be registered in RRW to be eligible for prizing. It’s free to join!
  2. Participants with Public Accounts on Strava and are in the UBC Recreation Strava Club, will re-name their activity “RRW Week # Challenge” (ex. RRW Week 1 Challenge)
  3. Comment that you completed this week’s challenge on the UBC Recreation challenge post for that week
  4. Participants with Private Accounts or using another running app, can email screenshots of their activities to im.events5@ubc.ca with the email subject line as “RRW Week # Challenge Submission – Full Name” (RRW Week 1 Challenge Submission – John Doe)
  5. Winners will be announced the following week and virtual gift cards will be emailed to you.
