Run Roll Walk – Week 5 Challenge

Welcome to week 5 of Run Roll Walk! This week’s theme is Winter Sports. Hey guys! The weather is looking pretty good this week for some outdoor activities- maybe even in the snow? Take a break from burying your head into your books this week and enjoy some fresh chilly air outside. You could head up to the slopes for some skiing/snowboarding or go for a run/roll/walk if there are no snow nearby. I hope you guys had a great reading break and good luck on your upcoming exams!

WEEK 5 CHALLENGE: Try Something in the Snow*

Complete one of the following this week (FEB 22 – 28):

  • Participate in a winter sport
  • *Enjoy the winter air with a walk/run through Pacific Sprit, Seawall
  • *Or how about a cold bike ride!

  1. You must be registered in RRW to be eligible for prizing. It’s free to join!
  2. Participants with Public Accounts on Strava and are in the UBC Recreation Strava Club, will re-name their activity “RRW Week # Challenge” (ex. RRW Week 1 Challenge)
  3. Comment that you completed this week’s challenge on the UBC Recreation challenge post for that week
  4. Participants with Private Accounts or using another running app, can email screenshots of their activities to with the email subject line as “RRW Week # Challenge Submission – Full Name” (RRW Week 1 Challenge Submission – John Doe)
  5. Winners will be announced the following week and virtual gift cards will be emailed to you.
