Upcoming Access Changes for Sep 13

Access Change for ARC & SRC Beginning Sep 13

To implement the proof of vaccination against COVID-19 requirement beginning on September 13, we will be making some access changes at select facilities:

Student Recreation Centre (SRC)

Entry to the SRC will only be permitted through the north doors (across from the Tim Horton’s on Student Union Blvd). Please be ready to provide proof of vaccination at this entrance.

ARC

The lower level of the ARC can only be accessed via the stairwell at the east side (through the bright yellow doors in the seating area) of the Life Building. If you require an accessible route to the lower area, please use the elevator and then follow the instructions on the glass entry doors to the ARC for assistance.

Please note that at all indoor facilities, masks continue to be required except during exercise and physical activity.

No Spectators Permitted at the UBC Tennis Centre

In order to implement the proof of vaccination requirement beginning September 13, parent/guardian (s) of a child are not currently permitted to stay and spectate at the UBC Tennis Centre due to venue capacities; however, they may enter the facility and assist their child to prepare for lessons and programs.

Please note that at all indoor facilities, masks continue to be required except during exercise and physical activity.

No Spectators Permitted at the UBC Aquatic Centre

Although there is no proof of vaccination requirement at the UBC Aquatic Centre, please note that spectators are not currently permitted.

A parent/guardian of a child under 8 years of age is permitted to accompany their child to the change room and to meet their lesson instructor for the purposes of registered swim lessons.

Please note that at all indoor facilities, masks continue to be required except during exercise and physical activity.
