UBC is notorious for its gorgeous campus and stunning views. If you didn’t know this already, let me prove it to you with 5 locations on campus that you’ll be sure to include on your Instagram feed. These spots come to life in the fall with all the rich colours of the turning leaves.
1. UBC Main Mall
Starting off with the most unoriginal idea on the list but also the most iconic, UBC Main Mall is a fall photo you absolutely can’t miss. I mean, do you even go to UBC if you haven’t posted at least one main mall pic on your Instagram story? The arch of colourful trees and old buildings are the quintessential image of academia.
2. Biological Sciences Building
Address: 6270 University Blvd, Vancouver, BC V6T 1Z4
This new courtyard has unique landscaping and chill vibes. The clean white buildings provide awesome backdrops for your next ~aesthetically pleasing~ Instagram photo.
3. Nitobe Garden
Address: 1895 Lower Mall, Vancouver, BC V6T 1Z4
Free to UBC students, this campus gem is a destination in all seasons. It’s the perfect place to clear your mind with a walk and maybe snap a few pics while you’re at it.
4. Museum of Anthropology
Address: 6393 NW Marine Dr, Vancouver, BC V6T 1Z2
The MOA is nestled in the trees on the edge of campus and overlooks breathtaking views of the mountains.
5. Tower Beach
Address: NW Marine Dr, Vancouver, BC
This magical spot can be accessed via NW Marine Drive at the Trail 3 entrance. The tunnel of trees leads down to the beach where there are even more photo opportunities awaiting. Trust me, it’s worth the 394 stair steps.
Each of these spots makes for a great autumnal walk and photo op. Hopefully, this inspires you to step up your ‘gram game while getting those steps in this fall! Looking for more opportunities to explore our beautiful campus, sign up for an upcoming Wellbeing Walk!
