Hey UBC! Have you been looking to get in your exercise and learn something new about wellbeing? Well, you’re in luck, as UBC offers a free 2 in 1 online interactive wellbeing “Lunch + Lift” session every month via Zoom!
As members of the UBC community, we all live very busy lives and it can be hard for us to exercise and learn something new. That’s why it is awesome that UBC hosts a monthly “Lunch + Lift” where we not only get to fuel our bodies through exercise but get to fuel our brains through wellbeing knowledge as well!
Each Lunch + Lift class starts with a 30-minute movement class, followed by a 30-minute wellbeing workshop. The wellbeing theme is different each month, connecting you with various wellbeing professionals within UBC. This winter semester, we will be hosting 3 workshops with the following themes:
- January 19th: What You Need to Know About Credit
- February 9th: Strategies to Improve Your Sleep
- March 23rd: Sport Nutrition
Signing up for these monthly sessions is easy as well. Just head to our “Lunch + Lift” website and sign up for any one of the upcoming sessions for FREE! Once you have registered, a Zoom link will be sent to you a few days before the event. Once you have received the link all you need to do is find some space, maybe grab a yoga mat and get ready to exercise your body and your brain!
