UBC TSC Artistic Swimming CUASL Nationals 2022

UBC TSC Artistic Swimming recently competed at virtual CUASL Nationals 2022 and had their first CUASL National championship win in history!! They were awarded the Gerry Dubrule Trophy for the top overall university as well as the John Drake Trophy for the top experienced team. 

 

 

 

 

The Novice team took home 4th place swimming to the theme of nightmares. This team of 10 has been working hard on their count execution, moving as a unit and pattern accuracy all season. They made so much improvement and we are so proud!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Experienced Combo made up of 12 talented athletes wowed the judges with their clean patterns and sharp strokes. They captured the gold medal swimming to a remix of selections from four seasons spring. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Experienced Team made up of 10 athletes from all across the country swam to a first place finish winning the John Drake trophy for the top experienced team. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Claire Hein-Salvi, Marissa Enns and Serena Chin represented UBC Artistic Swimming in the Experienced solo category coming in 1st, 3rd, and 7th respectively. 

                                                                   

 

Minnie Teng represented UBC in the Novice solo category swimming to a 4th place finish. 

 

UBC’s Marissa Enns and Flynne Gossling took home 4th place in the Experienced duet category.
