1. Go by Bike Week
Go by Bike Week, from October 3rd to 9th, is a week-long celebration where people in Metro Vancouver are encouraged to cycle, whether you’re an experienced cyclist or a beginner. Cycling has been proven to boost mood and productivity, as well as improve mental and physical health! During Go by Bike Week we encourage you to track your trips on the Bike Hub website to be entered in a draw to win great prizes! A celebration station for Go By Bike Week will be held on the UBC Vancouver campus at University Commons (in front of the Nest) on October 4th at 12-2 pm, so be sure to come by to get some free giveaways! 2. Scavenger hunt walk
Fall doesn’t need to be all gloom and rain! On October 12 from 12-1 pm is one of our biweekly Wellbeing Walks featuring a fun scavenger hunt to test your campus knowledge and get you moving. To find out more and register click this link.
3. UBC Apple Festival
Tis’ the season of apples! Grab your tickets and get ready for the fall season at this event. There will be a contest for the best apple display, attractions in the garden, a food fair, crafts, and entertainment. This festival is just deliciously perfect to embrace fall with a warm hug. 4. Active at Home
The rain and colder weather got you wanting to stay in your cozy home? UBC Recreation has created a variety of bodyweight workouts designed for you to do anywhere! Here are ways to stay active in the comfort of your own humble abode!
