Congratulations to the 8 Team BC athletes that have been selected to be part of the Men’s and Women’s Youth National Water Polo Teams! The following athletes are set to represent Canada at the upcoming 2023 PanAm Aquatics Water Polo U17 Championships to be held in Bauru, Brazil:

Team BC athletes are part of Water Polo West’s Provincial Training Centre which is based out of the UBC Aquatic Centre. Team BC will compete at the 2023 Water Polo Canada National Championships in Montreal this July.
Water Polo West selected UBC Aquatic Centre as the headquarters for our high-performance athletes in BC, and the Provincial Training Centre was launched in 2020. Additional programs offered by Water Polo West through Provincial Training Centre include free water polo camps for youth athletes, coach and referee development, and trial practices for UBC Students to support the UBC AMS Water Polo Club in creating competitive opportunities at the university level for BC athletes.
