Annual Volunteer Recognition Banquet & 4 Year Award Reception
This year, we took the time to recognize our staff on two separate occasions – both at a new 4 Year Award Reception on April 4, and at our annual Volunteer Awards Banquet on April 14. Throughout both of these events we were able to recognize many of our staff for their contributions throughout their time in the program. Once again, thank you to our special guests for joining us, and congratulations to all our recipients, and of course our entire staff. See details below!
Service Awards
For the first time this year, we were able to hold a reception to recognize our 4 Year Award recipients – which were 6 in total, and additionally a 5 Year Service Award at our Winter Banquet. Our Service Award recipients hold a very special place in our program – these individuals spend entire degrees dedicating time to our program and to this staff, becoming leaders and caretakers of our legacy. This year, our reception took place on April 4 at Mahony & Sons False Creek and was well attended by all staff, guests, friends, and family. Congratulations to all our Service Award Recipients this year – 7 in total. Your contributions will impact our staff for years to come.

Excellence Awards
Every year we take the time to recognize 5-6 staff members for their contributions to the Intramural Program. Each recipient is nominated by their peers and recipients are presented with awards at our annual Volunteer Recognition Banquet – which took place on Friday, April 14 at the Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront. This year, our 5 recipients displayed characteristics of dedication, altruism, and passion in all of their work and interactions. Thank you for your contributions, and congratulations once again!
