“Moves with the Move U Crew” Podcast: Core Breathing

It’s clear that breathing is vital to our everyday survival. What’s less known is the power of mindful breathing. Mindful breathing has been demonstrated to improve reading comprehension (Clinton et al., 2018), reduce pain perceptions (Zautra et al., 2010), and decrease stress levels (Jian et al., 2020). 

For this month’s episode on “Moves with the Move U Crew” podcast, instead of focusing on larger muscle groups, we will be redirecting our attention to our “mindfulness muscles” and our core muscles that help us breathe.

In just 8 minutes, Chelsea will take you through a guided meditation that will encourage you to engage your core muscles and visualize the intricate flow of your breath.
