The triathlon team has had yet another amazing year of training and racing. Although the end of the school term means the end of official team training, this has not stopped our athletes from dominating so far this summer racing season. Before getting into this summer’s results so far, let’s reminisce on our first team race of the season, the UBC TriDu!
UBC TriDu: March 4, 2023
Despite the frigid and rainy weather, our athletes persevered and finished with some amazing performances. We were proud to achieve UBC podium sweeps for both the female and male categories in the collegiate division! For the women, first place went to Abby Edison, followed by April St. Pierre and Amy Topshee. For the men, Hayden Woodrow was the first overall finisher of the day, followed by Cameron Mcinnes and Ethan White. Several of our athletes completed their first-ever triathlon on this day, and we couldn’t be more proud of their accomplishments!
