Due to expected poor weather conditions at UBC Point Grey, UBC Recreation and its facilities will operate with reduced programming or, in some cases, be closed on Wednesday, January 17. Please note that all registered lessons and programs scheduled for Wednesday, January 17, have been cancelled.
Please note that a variety of drop-in sports and activities remain available. We encourage patrons to explore alternative opportunities to stay active during this period:
Lessons & Program Cancellations for Jan 17
- All registered aquatic programs, aqua fitness & private lessons
- All registered tennis programs & private lessons
- All registered group fitness classes: Spin, yoga & pilates, martial arts, Cardio, Conditioning and Strength, and dance.
- All registered skating and hockey programs including the Thunderbird Adult Hockey League.
- All registered baseball programs & private lessons
- Intramural Leagues: Todd Ice Hockey, Nitobe Basketball and Roundnet
- Wellbeing walk: Hot Chocolate Walk
- Thunder Rowing: Competition Team

All UBC Athletics and Recreation Sports Facilities are open with regular operating hours, except for:
