Alpine Skiing
This weekend, UBC Alpine competed at Snoqualmie Pass in Washington at the fourth and final NWCSC qualifier. Both the Men’s and Women’s teams had incredible turnout with all the men making it into the top 20 on both days. Congratulations to the Men’s team for their fourth overall placement on both days and the Women’s team for placing fifth overall on Saturday and Sunday. Huge shout out to Emma Lam for her first race this season and 17th place on Sunday. Another huge shout out to Samuel Agerskov on placing 9th in his first-ever slalom race! With warm and sunny conditions on Saturday and snowy and chilly conditions on Sunday, both teams had lots of fun while successfully finishing the qualifying races for this competition season. The teams will be heading to the Western Regional Championships in the following weeks to compete for a spot at the National Championships in Lake Placid, NY!
