In a stunning display of skill and determination, the UBC Thunderbirds have once again claimed the Canadian University Tennis Championship title, marking their second victory in just three years. The championship, held at the prestigious National Bank Open in Montreal, saw the Thunderbirds soar to victory with a blend of tenacity and teamwork that left their opponents in the dust.

The road to the title was anything but easy. In the semi-finals, the Thunderbirds faced off against the Toronto Varsity Blues. With a dominant performance from the entire team, the Thunderbirds had a commanding 6-1 victory that showcased their depth and versatility across the board.
The final showdown against Laval Rouge et Or proved to be an epic battle, testing the mettle of both teams. Laval, known for their strong presence on the court, pushed the Thunderbirds to their limits. But UBC’s relentless drive and unwavering focus carried them through, as they emerged victorious with a hard-fought 4-2 win to claim the national title.
