At UBC Recreation, we believe that learning CPR is not just a valuable skill; it’s a lifesaving one. That’s why we’ve teamed up with the UBC Red Cross Club to bring you “World Restart A Heart”. This free event on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, offers hands-only CPR and AED training to the community. Join us to gain the knowledge and confidence needed to potentially save a life!
*Walk-in’s are welcome, but subject to capacity!
Event Details:
- Date: Wednesday, October 16, 2024
- Session Times: Choose from multiple sessions throughout the day to fit your schedule (sessions are 45 minutes long):
- 3:00 PM – 3:45 PM
- 4:00 PM – 4:45 PM
- 5:00 PM – 5:45 PM
- Location: Life Building – Conversation Pit (Across from Starbucks)
- Cost: Free!
- Who can attend: This event is open to anyone over the age of 12, including students, faculty, staff, and the public.
- What to Bring: Comfortable clothing to allow for easy movement during the training (all equipment will be provided).

- Learn how to perform hands-only CPR.
