Join our team as a Fitness Program Staff!
Rec North is opening soon, and we’re looking for enthusiastic team members to help create an exceptional experience for participants in our Fitness, Dance, Martial Arts, and Yoga/Pilates programs. This paid, part-time, on-campus position combines hands-on leadership, customer service, and behind-the-scenes support. As a Fitness Program Staff member, you’ll welcome participants, assist instructors, manage check-ins, track attendance, and troubleshoot class logistics. You’ll also help keep our studios clean, organized, and running smoothly while providing excellent customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment for all. If you’re passionate about health and wellness, enjoy helping others, and want to be part of a positive, active fitness community, this is the job for you!

The Move U Crew is hiring Team Members and Team Leads!
Join the Move U Crew and be a part of a dynamic team dedicated to promoting physical activity! This paid part-time position offers the chance to support a variety of initiatives, including leading movement breaks, coordinating health-focused campaigns like Move UBC, creating engaging social media content, and hosting wellbeing walks. You’ll also work closely with student groups, support health education, and collaborate with UBC’s wellbeing teams to create meaningful experiences for the community. We’re Hiring Rec North Facility Staff!
With Rec North opening soon, we are hiring facility staff. This is a part-time paid position on campus with a flexible schedule. Staff are responsible for facilitating activities and rentals in the Student Recreation Centre (SRC), ARC. As an essential part of our Athletics and Recreation team, you’ll help create a welcoming and safe environment for all facility users. You’ll be responsible for facilitating activities, overseeing fitness and sport sessions, maintaining facility cleanliness, and providing top-notch customer service. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about promoting an active and healthy lifestyle while ensuring high standards of safety and professionalism.

Intramurals is Hiring!
Intramurals is hiring Assistant Directors for the 25/26 school year! This is a great opportunity for those looking to get involved on campus and make friends! This is a volunteer position. Intramurals is a vital part of UBC and the students’ university experience. The volunteers can help managing sports leagues, organizing iconic events like Storm the Wall or promote everything else and in between in our social media accounts! The Intramural staff program consists of four involvement areas: Leagues, Events, Media and Digital Content. Within these sectors, there are multiple teams of student staff led by one Director.
