Faculty & Staff Sports Day | Reg Now Open

Join us with a team of 4-6 for an afternoon of fun on May 2 at the UBC Point Grey Campus on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Musqueam people. Teams will participate in various games and activities followed by an “apres” social time with snacks and beverages.   

Event Details 

Date: Friday May 2, 2025
Time: Choose from one of two time slots: 

• 12:00-2:00pm 
• 2:00-4:00pm 

Each time slot will allow up to 1.5 hours of activity time followed by a 30 minute social period for team to connect over free snacks and beverages.    

Locations: Registration, activities, and the post-event social will take place in and around these areas:

• Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre
• Osborne Centre
• Thunderbird Park
• UBC Tennis Centre

Teams & Participation Options: Teams of 4-6 people or individuals can sign-up to participate for the in-person event. Individuals signing up for the in-person event will be placed on teams with other registered individuals. 

Teams can register as Competitive or Just for Fun.   

Competitive Teams Objective: Complete as many activities as possible within the 1.5-hour timeslot. Teams must hand in their passport at the finish line before 1:30pm/3:30pm (respective of timeslots) to be eligible to win.   

Just for Fun Teams Objective: Have fun!
