BMO Marathon Road Closure Alert

Important Notice: For visitors to campus on Sunday, May 4, please be aware of the BMO Vancouver Marathon taking place. Road closures will be in effect around UBC between 8:30AM and 12:000PM, with particularly high impact on trips to and from Wesbrook Place from 8:30 AM to 11AM. We strongly recommend planning ahead and avoiding driving during this time. Please refer to the map below for details on road closures.
Road Closures:
  • 8AM – 10:15AM | SW Marine westbound/northbound CLOSED between West 49th Avenue and Camosun Street
  • 8:30AM – 11:00AM | West 16th Ave CLOSED from Imperial to SW Marine Drive
  • 8:45AM – 11 :30AM | NW/SW Marine Drive CLOSED from West 16th Avenue to Chancellor Blvd
  • 9:00AM – 12:15PM | NW Marine Drive CLOSED from Chancellor Blvd to West 4th Ave

ALL ROADS AROUND UBC WILL BE REOPENED BY NOON
