Collegia Free Agent Meeting

Calling all collegia students! If you’re wanting to make a team with others in the program, head to Life 1501 on March 4th and you can join and create a team FOR FREE! Ask your CA for more details.
Storm Teams at Residences | Orchard & Totem

If you’re in first year residence and you have a team ready to go, sign up at one of our booths in residence! We’ll be in the commonsblock of these buildings to answer your Storm questions and to help you register on the day of. First 5 teams to sign up at our booth each day get $25 (33%) off their registration – that’s $10 a person! If you don’t have a team or are looking for people to fill up your team, share your information with us then and we’ll try to match you with students who have expressed interest on the day of! If you don’t get a match on the day, you can try at our Free Agent Meeting!
Free Agent Meeting
Date & Time: March 12, 6:00 to 7:00 PM
Location: ARC Classroom (downstairs of Life Building, across ARC Fitness Centre).
Attend the Storm the Wall Free Agent Meeting on Thursday, March 12 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM! The Storm the Wall Free Agent Meeting is a chance for individuals and pairs of people to meet others who want to participate in Storm the Wall but do not have a full team yet. Individuals who form a team at the meeting will have an opportunity to register on the spot.
What to do before the meeting:
- Have your UBC Recreation Login set up on your mobile device.
- Have your credit card information, email, and phone number readily on-hand that are associated with your UBC Recreation Login.
- Review the Storm the Wall team structure so that you know which category you would like to participate in
What to expect during the meeting:
- Participants will form a team at the meeting and register on the spot (we will have a variety of race times available)
- A storm the wall team is $65 inc tax, but each individual will only be responsible for signing up themselves into the team and should be prepared to pay on the day (i.e., $13 per person with 5 people in a team)
- We will be helping students form the following teams (please note all teams other than Just for Fun are competitive and therefor have advancements):
- Just for Fun Teams
- Women (Trans Women Welcome) Teams
- Mixed Teams
- Open Teams
- Once you have formed a team at meeting, you will select a team captain who will be in charge of receiving communications for the event
