Parking, Wayfinding, & Construction Detours

Parking

  1. Look in your pre-camp email and click on the link that will take you to UBC Parking Services where you will register your vehicle.

NOTE: You must register as a guest if you are not a faculty, staff, or student.

  1. Follow the steps to activate your complimentary parking permit.
  2. Arrive on campus to your designated parking area.
  3. Your complimentary permit lasts for 15 minutes at both drop-off and pick-up times.
  4. Drop-off and pick-up locations will also be outlined in your pre-camp email.
  5. Check out the parking & walking maps for parkades and routes to UBC Camps locations from designated parkades.

Construction & Road Detours

If travelling by car, please be aware of active construction and road closures across UBC’s Vancouver Campus. Therefore, please plan to arrive between 5-10 minutes before drop-off to accommodate extra wayfinding time.

Detours: Accessing Parking

For camps located in War Memorial Gym, UBC Aquatics Centre, UBC Student Recreation Centre (SRC), and UBC LIFE Building/ARC:

  • Access to North Parkade and drop-off along Student Union Boulevard is limited due to construction. 
  • Park in University Blvd Lot or drop-off along University Boulevard

For camps located in Tennis Bubble Alleyway, Doug Mitchell Centre, UBC Tennis Centre, and Gerald McGavin UBC Rugby Centre:  

  • Access to Thunderbird Parkade from either Wesbrook Mall or East Mall.

Wayfinding: From Parking to Camp

When parking along North Campus and South Campus, continue along the following walking routes to camp. Please schedule walking time into your route.

North Campus
