After Care
After Care allows families flexibility in picking up their children, with UBC Camps staff taking care of safely transporting campers from their afternoon or full day camp. A supervised play space with quieter games, colouring and crafts is provided. Only available for select camps on campus.
Please note: If you register for After Care, you will pick-up your child off at the designated After Care location. Prior to camp, you will drop them off at either their registered camp location or at Before Care, if you have also registered for it.
Important Registration Details
1. Prior to signing-up for After Care, you must already be fully registered in an eligible on-campus afternoon or full day camp.
2. Based on your registered camp location, you will need to choose After Care located on either North Campus or South Campus.
3. To check if your registered camp is eligible for After Care, and whether you should choose the North Campus or South Campus option, please refer to the website description of your registered camp.
4. Registration for After Care closes on the Monday prior to the start of camp, and we are unable to add campers once this deadline has passed. This timeline allows us to finalize staff schedules and program assignments, including the safe transfer of campers between programs.
5. Please note that we are unable to accommodate single-day or prorated registrations for After Care.
If your afternoon or full day camp is in your shopping cart, or you are on a waitlist, the system will not allow you to add After Care. You will only be able to sign-up for After Care once you have fully registered (paid for) for your eligible afternoon or full day camp.
Consent Form: UBC Camps Extra Care Consent
A digital copy of the consent form is completed during online registration. In-person or over the phone registration requires a paper copy be submitted prior to the first day of camp.
