Certification – Standard First Aid
The Standard First Aid Camp is for youth interested in expanding their first aid knowledge and abilities. Participants will engage in training and instruction for CPR Level C and associated AED protocol. The course covers airway, breathing and cardiovascular emergencies, bleeding, burns, seizures, diabetes, plus many more related first aid topics. Participants will learn all techniques in a comprehensive learning environment with their peers.
Campers must receive a minimum of 75% passing grade on a multiple choice quiz to receive certification. Certification will be through either Canadian Red Cross or Lifesaving Society.
Consent Form: UBC Camps Enrichment Consent
A digital copy of the consent form is completed during online registration. In-person or over the phone registration requires a paper copy be submitted prior to the first day of camp.
