Track & Field – Fundamentals

Get started with a well-rounded introduction to Track & Field! Learn the basics of sprints, hurdles, middle distance and jumping and throwing events. Mini games add excitement and friendly competition. Participants also increase fitness levels and strength, bettering all sporting activities. Please note: this program runs outdoors rain or shine.

Prerequisites: No previous Track & Field experience required.

Required Equipment: Athletic clothing and running shoes. This camp will run outside, rain or shine, so please ensure weather-appropriate clothing is worn.


Location Details: Meet on the bleachers in the Rashpal Dhillon Track Oval.

A digital copy of the consent form is completed during online registration. In-person or over the phone registration requires a paper copy be submitted prior to the first day of camp.
