Can’t decide on one activity? Why not try two!
One half of the day is dedicated to canoeing. The Basic Canoeing Skills
camp is designed to introduce participants to canoeing in a group
setting. The program emphasizes learning boat control so that paddlers
will gain the confidence, skills and knowledge to be safe and have fun.
Small tours around parts of English Bay are included when conditions are
suitable. Coaches accompany the students in motorized coach boats.
The other half of the day is dedicated to beach sports. Beach Sports Blast is
an action packed course covering a different sport each day. Campers
will rotate through playing beach volleyball, ultimate frisbee, soccer
and spike ball. Camp participants will engage in a variety of drills for
each sport before putting their new skills into practice during
friendly games. We provide a safe and fun environment to try each new
sport, while also providing opportunities to challenge the campers, and
build confidence, teamwork and physical skills.
Required Equipment: Bring a jacket, change of clothes, footwear that can get wet, hat and sunscreen.
