Creative Writing

Calling all storytellers! This program will encourage writers to open their minds and stretch their imaginations through writing exercises and fun literary games. Youth will be introduced to a variety of writing styles, and create a portfolio of work throughout the week to showcase. Genres may include poetry, comic books, fiction, and autobiographical writing.

Prerequisites: Participants must be reading and writing at grade level, with fluency and command of the English language.

Required Equipment: This camp will run a mix of indoor and outdoor activities, rain or shine. Please ensure weather-appropriate clothing is worn.

A digital copy of the consent form is completed during online registration. In-person or over the phone registration requires a paper copy be submitted prior to the first day of camp.
