Amplify your voice! Learn the basics of debate: argumentation, rebuttal and speech writing, all of which enhance public speaking skills. This camp supports participants in learning to present their ideas with clarity and conviction. In the afternoons, campers take a break from debate and enjoy fun, recreational games and sport.
Campers will go swimming at the UBC Aquatic Centre, try out gymnastics at Osbourne Gym, and visit parks & playgrounds around campus to support an active, healthy lifestyle!
Required Equipment: This camp will run a mix of indoor and outdoor activities, rain or shine. Please ensure weather-appropriate clothing is worn. Please also bring a towel and swim suit on the pool visit day.
