Inspire change and lead for a sustainable future! Designed for ages 12-14, Leadership in Sustainability is the capstone camp in our marine ecology series, and is perfect for campers ready to take action and make an impact. Participants will explore advanced topics like ecosystem restoration, marine policy, and sustainability leadership, with opportunities to engage in real-world marine ecology endeavors. This program includes volunteer opportunities with local conservation initiatives and hands-on learning about ongoing environmental projects. Campers will collaborate with guest educators, including experts from Ocean Wise and Parks Canada, to create actionable solutions to global challenges. Field projects, extended canoe excursions, and leadership workshops emphasize advocacy, problem-solving, and teamwork, empowering young leaders to drive meaningful change for our planet.

Marine Ecology Camp Parent Handbook
Prerequisites: Designed for campers who have completed Marine Protectors.
Required Equipment: Water shoes or sandals with straps, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, a water bottle, appropriate swimwear, a towel, and a change of clothes.
