Ahoy, future scientists! This week-long camp is designed for girls* who are curious, adventurous, and ready to dive into the world of STEM. At Sea Scientists, campers will dive into a week of salt-sprayed science, wild beach quests, and tide pool mysteries, right on the shores of the Salish Sea. With sand beneath their toes and curiosity in their hearts, girls will discover sea creatures, solve eco-missions, and develop the skills and confidence to pursue STEM opportunities later in life, to close the gender gap in science-related fields.

Please Note: There is NO swimming during this camp. This camp is open to youth who identify as girls, trans, genderqueer, gender non-binary, Two-Spirit, and gender questioning. The Starfish Canada is working to close the gender gap in science-related fields!

Required Equipment: Weather-appropriate clothing, hat and sunscreen, a change of clothes, closed-toed shoes that can get wet & muddy, clipboard, pencil case with art supplies (scissors, glue, pencil crayons, markers).

Lunch Details: Lunch food is not included with this camp. Please ensure your camper comes with a lunch, snacks (AM & PM) and enough water to be outside all day.
