Inventing, problem solving, prototyping, and technology literacy are key skills students need to succeed in our modern, fast-paced world. S.T.E.A.M'ers helps children to explore their curiosity and creativity. Children will work on developing key 21st -century skills of being Calm, Collaborative and Creative through different activities, exercises and games. STEAMERS 3 is an alternative offering for students who may have already experienced our STEAMERS & STEAMERS Plus programs and would love to continue exploring new experiments and activities to develop scientific skills in a fun, play-based environment.
Required Equipment: Nut-free snacks and lunch, personal pencil case (with basic writing supplies such as pencils, erasers, ruler, sharpener, a few markers and crayons), and a book they are enjoying reading for downtime during the day. Please send 4 similar size recycled plastic bottle caps in a Ziploc with their names labelled, that the campers can use for a project. Also send other recyclable items or material that they can use in their engineering projects such as, empty tissue boxes, paper towel or toilet paper cardboard rolls, empty plastic bottles/containers etc.
