Content Creator: YouTube Stars

Got a kid eager to explore video content creation and channel management? This camp will provide them with the tools and skills needed to shine in the digital spotlight. In this camp, kids become digital creators by learning how to plan, produce, and publish their own YouTube-style video content. Campers create and customize a shared YouTube channel, design channel art, profile images, and thumbnails, and learn how to record, edit, and upload videos. They also analyze popular videos to understand what makes content engaging, while learning about copyright, fair use, and responsible online publishing.

Campers also explore modern creative tools to take their videos further. Using AI-powered features, kids turn images into short video clips, experiment with special effects, generate visuals, add sound effects and soundtracks, and enhance scenes in ways that would be impossible to film in real life. By the end of the week, campers leave with finished videos, hands-on experience using AI as a creative tool, and a strong foundation in storytelling, editing, and content creation.

Required Equipment: All necessary equipment will be provided. Please pack lunch, snacks and a water bottle.
